My children had a great night! My oldest knew exactly where to go when he saw Pilot the Eagle sitting outside the event and ran right in. They had fun and begged to go back when we left. It was so nice to know they were not far away and well taken care of during our event.
Special Ops Child Watch · Service area
Serving Camp Springs, MD
Camp Springs is approximately 10 minutes from our Clinton, MD location via Branch Avenue (MD-5) north.
Camp Springs sits right on the perimeter of Joint Base Andrews, connected to our Clinton base by about ten minutes on Branch Avenue (MD-5) heading north. That proximity matters because JBA generates some of the highest-profile military events in the entire National Capital Region: Air Force Balls, Presidential Airlift Group functions, unit holiday parties, Family Readiness events, and spouse appreciation days that draw hundreds of attendees. The Auth Village corridor and neighborhoods lining Allentown Road are home to dense clusters of active-duty families whose commanders are mandated to run family readiness programming. When an event coordinator or FRO at Andrews needs on-site, credentialed child watch for 10 to 200 children, Special Ops Child Watch is ten minutes from the gate.
Including Auth Village, Morningside, Silver Hill and the surrounding area.

Can Special Ops Child Watch staff events held on Joint Base Andrews?
SOCW has experience working at military installations across the National Capital Region. Installation-access requirements vary by base and event type, so call us at (202) 702-2486 during office hours Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 12:30 PM Eastern, and we will walk through the logistics for your specific event and venue.
How far in advance should a JBA event coordinator book SOCW?
Military balls and large unit events book up quickly, so reaching out as soon as your event date is confirmed is always the right move. A $500 deposit secures the date; your event coordinator can request a full quote to present to command.
How many children can SOCW handle at a large Andrews event like a ball or holiday party?
Special Ops Child Watch is staffed and resourced to serve a minimum of 10 and a maximum of 200 children per event, contingent on the space your venue coordinator assigns for child watch operations. Staffing and ratios scale with headcount, so share your projected attendance when you call for a quote.
