My children had a great night! My oldest knew exactly where to go when he saw Pilot the Eagle sitting outside the event and ran right in. They had fun and begged to go back when we left. It was so nice to know they were not far away and well taken care of during our event.
Special Ops Child Watch · Service area
Serving Arlington, VA
About 35 to 45 minutes from Clinton, MD via the Capital Beltway and I-395 into Arlington, though Beltway traffic on event nights can push that closer to an hour.
Arlington sits just across the Potomac from Washington, DC, and its zip codes hold one of the densest concentrations of active-duty officers, Pentagon civilians, and defense contractors on the East Coast. Joint Base Myer-Henderson Hall anchors the northwest corner of the county, while the hotel ballrooms and conference floors of Pentagon City and National Landing fill with military functions year-round. When an FRO on the Army staff or a protocol officer at the Pentagon is planning a formal event, getting a full room starts with solving child watch first. Special Ops Child Watch travels from Clinton, MD via the Capital Beltway and I-395 to staff events throughout Northern Virginia, so coordinators here can focus on the program and the guest list and not the phone calls about who is watching the kids.
Including Pentagon City, Crystal City, Ballston, Aurora Hills and the surrounding area.

Can Special Ops Child Watch staff events held on Joint Base Myer-Henderson Hall or in Pentagon-adjacent facilities?
Installation access requirements vary by base and event type. Call us at 202-702-2486 or submit a booking inquiry so we can work through base-access logistics with your coordinator. That process goes smoothest when we are looped in early, well ahead of the event date.
Is there a travel fee for events in Arlington or Northern Virginia?
We travel to events throughout the DMV region. For pricing specific to your venue and headcount, request a quote. Every booking is scoped to the event, the location, and the number of children, so that is the most accurate way to get a number.
How far ahead does an Arlington-area coordinator need to book for fall ball season?
As early as possible, especially for high-demand dates like service-branch ball season in the fall. Our booking hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 12:30 PM Eastern. Call or submit a request to check availability for your date.
