My children had a great night! My oldest knew exactly where to go when he saw Pilot the Eagle sitting outside the event and ran right in. They had fun and begged to go back when we left. It was so nice to know they were not far away and well taken care of during our event.

Who we are
About Special Ops Child Watch
When one parent's son spotted Pilot the Eagle outside the venue, he ran straight in and begged to go back on the way home. That's what April Dingle and La'Taya Brown built when they launched Special Ops Child Watch in 2023. April walked into the youth center at Joint Base Andrews with a curriculum she had written herself and asked for a chance; they booked her for Month of the Military Child, then booked twelve more weeks of summer classes. What she built is a fully themed, staffed, and safety-vetted child experience that runs right alongside your event so you can actually be present at it. April brings 20 years in military childcare and La'Taya holds a bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education and a decade of service across multiple bases. Both are licensed USAF Family Child Care Providers, and every staff member they bring passes a thorough background check and holds First Aid and CPR certification before working any event. Kids get themed activities, keepsakes, and a USDA-approved unlimited snack buffet. Event coordinators get a team that shows up prepared, uses the space well, and resets it clean when it's done.
