SOCWS provides a staffed, themed child watch area at your venue with age-appropriate activities, a snack buffet, and take-home keepsakes — giving parents the freedom to be fully present at the ceremony and reception without a single worried glance toward the hall. All staff are background-checked, First Aid and CPR certified, and experienced managing mixed-age groups in event settings.

Does SOCWS do civilian weddings, not just military events?
SOCWS primarily serves military members, units, and affiliated organizations, but considers private and civilian events on a case-by-case basis depending on schedule availability. Contact them directly to discuss your wedding date and guest count.
What is the minimum number of children required for a wedding?
SOCWS requires a minimum of 10 children per event. The maximum is 200, depending on the space available at the venue. Staffing is determined by the contracted number of children attending.
How does check-in and pickup work at a wedding?
SOCWS uses the same sign-in/sign-out procedures at every event. Children are only released to authorized adults listed at registration. You'll coordinate these details with SOCWS when booking through your designated Point of Contact.
